Provide services for treating impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status under the direction and supervision of the treating occupational therapist Participates in the development and evaluation of the plan of care in partnership with the patient, representative (if any), and caregiver(s).
Assists the treating occupational therapist in documenting a patient's progress and response to treatment.
Teaches task-oriented therapeutic activities designed to restore physical function, as well as sensory-integrative function.
Teaches compensatory technique to improve the level of independence in the activities of daily living (ADLs).

Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistance (COTA) license in South Carolina.
Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Successfully completed the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.
